Obituary of Linda A. Samperi

Linda A. Samperi Linda A. Samperi, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest, Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx. She was 52. Daughter of Margaret Cappucci LaRocco and the late Philip LaRocco, she was born October 2, 1954 in New York City. On June 25, 1977 in Good Shepard Church in Manhattan, she married Peter Samperi; Mr. Samperi survives at home in Wappingers Falls. Linda formerly worked for Ralph Ellis Insurance Company in Poughkeepsie. She was also a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Wappingers Falls. In addition to her husband, Peter Samperi of Wappingers Falls and her mother, Margaret LaRocco of Yonkers, she is survived by her children, Peter, Jonathon, Christopher and Kristin Samperi, all at home in Wappingers Falls; her brother, Philip LaRocco of Walkill; her sister, Camille Miller of Yonkers; her step-sister, Rosemary Williams of Washingtonville; two nieces; two nephews; two grandnieces and one grandnephew. Family will receive their friends on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY, 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 am on Monday, June 25 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Linda's name to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10021.
