Obituary of Jack W. Brigati

Jack W. Brigati Jack W. Brigati, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest, Friday, July 6, 2007 at the Veteran's Hospital in Montrose, NY. He was 82. Son of the late Eugenio and Luisa Brigati, he was born October 29, 1924 in New York City. He was married to Anna Lepre Brigati who predeceased him. Jack formerly worked as a truck driver at Continental Bakery in Elmsford, NY. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Jack enjoyed playing golf. Survivors include his son, Steven Brigati of Wellington, FL. a daughter Linda Kirk and her husband, Robert of Wappingers Falls, his grandchildren Erica and Nicole Brigati, Christopher and Ashley Kirk. He was predeceased by his son, John Brigati. Family will receive their friends on Sunday, July 8, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY, 12590. A prayer service will be conducted during calling hours. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Mt. Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw, New York.
