Obituary of Anna E. Lanzarone

Anna E. Lanzarone Anna E. Lanzarone a life-long resident of the Village of Wappingers Falls entered into rest on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Wingate at Dutchess in Fishkill, NY. She was 81. Daughter of the late Rocco and Lucia Casucci Pulichene she was born on April 29, 1926 in Wappingers Falls, New York. She married Benny Lanzarone who survives at home. Anna worked at St. Mary's School and Convent in Wappingers Falls. She was affectionately known as "The Ice Cream Lady" at St. Mary's School. Anna was a life-long member of St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls and a longtime member of the former Altar Rosary Society. In addition to her husband, Anna is survived by her sister, Rose Peluse of Poughkeepsie and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Pulichene, Dominic Pulicano and Nicholas Pulichene and her sister, Antoinette Roberto. Family will receive their friends from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Monday, July 9, 2007 at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Tuesday, July 10 at St. Mary's Church, 19 Clinton St., Wappingers Falls, NY Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. Memorial donations on Anna's behalf can be made to St. Mary's School, Convent Ave., Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
