Obituary of Ubaldino Ferrer

Ubaldino Ferrer Ubaldino Ferrer, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest, Sunday July 1, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie. He was 86. Son of the late Ubaldino and Maria DelToro Ferrer, he was born December 7, 1920 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. He was married to Nilda M. Ferrer who predeceased him on November 24, 1998. Ubaldino formerly worked as a mechanic and printer at Beacon Piece and Dye in Beacon. He attended St. John's Church, Beacon, St Columba Church, Hopewell Junction and St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. Survivors include his son. Dino Ferrer of Wappingers Falls, daughters Maria DelPilar Ferrer and Irene Ferrer of Puerto Rico, Grandchildren Nicole, Michelle and Christina, great grandchildren Tyler, Dre and Anthony, Ava, Brianna and Victoria. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Family will receive their friends on Thursday July 1, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY, 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00 pm on Friday July 6 at St. Mary Mother of the Church, Jackson St. Fishkill. Church. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill.
