Obituary of Erna J. Arciuolo

Erna J. Arciuolo Erna J. Arciuolo, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 80. Daughter of the late Howard and Erna Gass Walsh, she was born August 8, 1927 in the Bronx. On May 22, 1948 she married Joseph Arciuolo in the Bronx. Mr. Arciuolo survives at home in Wappingers Falls. Prior to her retirement, Erna worked as a claims representative for Allstate Insurance in New Rochelle. In addition to her husband of fifty-nine years, Joseph Arciuolo, she is survived by her children, Peter Arciuolo and Lynda McFarlan; her grandchildren, Peter, Daniel, Sara, Joseph, and Robert and her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Henry and Peter. Family will receive their friends on Thursday December 27, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 28 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls.
