Charles P. Beagan
Charles P. Beagan of LaGrange entered into rest Friday, April 25, 2008 at River Valley Care Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 66.
Son of the late Charles J. and Bridgette Haren Beagan, he was born on October 20, 1941 in Port Chester. He married the former Marie R. Ciaio; Mrs. Beagan survives at home.
Charles worked as an accountant for Leon Weiss, CPA in New Rochelle for 35 years. Locally, he was a member of St. Martin de Porres Church in Poughkeepsie.
In addition to his wife Marie, he is survived by his son, Charles Beagan and his wife, Mary Ellen of LaGrange; his daughters, Kelly Collins and her husband, Kevin of Boxford, Massachusetts, and Bonnie Rosen and her husband, Hugo of Aurora, Colorado; his sister, Mary O'Toole of Stamford, Connecticut; grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew and Stephen Collins, Rachel, Leah and Nicholas Rosen, and Brendan, Colin and Caitlin Beagan.
Family will receive their friends on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30 at St. Martin de Porres Church, Cedar Valley Road in Poughkeepsie. Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Charles' name to the Alzheimer's Association, 2 Jefferson Plaza # 103, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601
