Marie Gaetani

Marie Gaetani, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 61.

Daughter of the late James and Rose Bagnera DelGiudice, she was born November 12, 1946 in the Bronx. Marie married the love of her life, Frank J. Gaetani on September 9, 1967 at Immaculate Conception Church in the Bronx; Mr. Gaetani survives at home in Wappingers Falls.

Marie was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Wappingers Falls. She also enjoyed floral design. Most importantly, she was a wife and mother, providing a warm and loving home for her family.

In addition to her husband of forty years, Frank J. Gaetani, she is survived by her children, Camille Zengen and her husband, Michael of Pleasant Valley and Frank Gaetani, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Wappingers Falls; her four grandchildren, Chelsea Marie, Collin, Anthony and Nicholas; her brother, John DelGiudice; her sister, Camille Dellapi; and many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Family will receive their friends on Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, July 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Monday, July 28 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, South Avenue, Poughkeepsie.
