Obituary of Frances Rossero

Frances Rossero Frances Rossero, resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest Sunday, August 10, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie. She was 92. She was born February 3, 1916 in Manhattan. Frances was married to Louis Rossero. Mr. Rossero preceded her in death in July of 1974. Frances was a parishioner of St. Frances of Rome Church in the Bronx before moving to this area. She was a former member of the Wappingers Falls Senior Citizens. Frances also had a deep love for her pets. Survivors include her son, John Rossero of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Theresa Rossero, Louis Rossero and John Rossero, Jr.; her five great-grandchildren and her nephew, Michael Michelis. In addition to her husband of over thirty-five years, she was predeceased her brother, Frank and her sisters, Ella, Lilly and Josephine. Family will receive their friends on Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Friday, August 15 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains, New York.
