Obituary of Ann M. Ricci

Ann M. Ricci Ann M. Ricci of Fishkill entered into rest Monday, August 18, 2008 at home, surrounded by her family. She was 82. Daughter of the late Salvatore and Mary Fasana Morrongiello, she was born on February 10, 1926 in Brooklyn. She married the love of her life, Henry V. Ricci, Sr. on April 3, 1948 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Brooklyn; Mr. Ricci survives at home. Mrs. Ricci worked as an executive secretary for 27 years at IBM in East Fishkill, until her retirement. While there, she became a member of the Quarter Century Club. In her spare time, Ann loved to bowl and work in her garden. She was also a very religious person; locally she was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Fishkill. In addition to her loving husband, Hank, of sixty years, she is survived by her sons, Henry V. Ricci, Jr. and his wife, Fern of Wappingers Falls, and James H. Ricci and his fianc�e, Kathy M. Williams of Wappingers Falls; her brothers, Alexander Morrongiello of Miami, FL, Michael Morrongiello and his wife, Ann of Bethpage, Anthony Morrongiello and his wife, Ceil of West Palm Beach, FL, and Joseph Morrongiello and his wife, Phyllis of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren, Nina, Thomas, Stephen and Jonathan; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Jackson Street in Fishkill. Entombment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Community Mausoleum, Poughkeepsie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ann's name to Hospice of Dutchess County, 374 Violet Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
