Henry L. Schroeder Henry L. Schroeder Henry L. Schroeder of Otisville, NY entered into rest Monday November 10, 2008 at Elant at Wappingers Falls. He was 70. Son of the late Henry Schroeder and Florence A. Hodziewich Schroeder, he was born on August 5, 1938 in Bronx, NY. On July 23, 1977 in Carmel, NY he married Sylvia Tutt, Mrs. Schroeder survives at home. Henry proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. He was an Insurance Broker with Walter Kay in NYC and later worked in the fishing Department at Gander Mountain in Middletown, NY. He enjoyed hunting and deep sea fishing. In addition to his wife, survivors include his three daughters Celeste K. Schroeder of Sarasota, FL, Emily L. Schroeder of Chicago, IL and Elaina M. Schroeder of Syracuse, NY, a sister Janet Schroeder of Florida, a grandson Gage Founier, his nieces Nora Matheson-Solez of South Carolina, Aimee Battle of Hopewell Junction, NY and Elizabeth Schroeder of Albany, NY and one Nephew Peter Schroeder of Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Peter and Walter Schroeder and his sister Florence Matheson. Funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
