Obituary of Dante Salciccia

Dante Salciccia Dante Salciccia a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest, Friday, December 26, 2008 at his home. He was 77. Son of the late Amore and Faustina Molinaro Salciccia, he was born September 2, 1931 in Yonkers. Dan proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged October 9, 1953. He loved animals, especially cats. He also enjoyed music and played the piano. Survivors include his sister, Gilda V. Salciccia of Wappingers Falls; his brother, Paul Salciccia of Nyack; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, December 30 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
