Obituary of Margaret Diggelmann

Margaret Diggelmann Margaret Diggelmann, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest, Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 78. Daughter of the late Robert E. and Eleanor E. Sullivan Decker, she was born August 30, 1930 in Walden, New York. She graduated from Marlboro High School. On August 15, 1953 in Newburgh, she married Henry E. Diggelmann. Mr. Diggelmann survives at home in Wappingers Falls. She was employed by Broadway Garage in Newburgh, St. George's School in Poughkeepsie and most recently at Emery and Webb Insurance in Fishkill. Margaret was also a member of Zion Episcopal Church, Wappingers Falls. Most importantly, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her husband of fifty-five years, Henry E. Diggelmann, she is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth A. Pectal and her husband, Karl A. of Chester, Virginia; her son, J. Robert Diggelmann and his wife, Diane E. of Salt Point; her two grandsons, Ryan N. Diggelmann and John R. Diggelmann, Jr. both of Salt Point; her sister, Eleanor Bramley of New Paltz; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert E. Decker, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Zion Episcopal Church, Saterlee Place, Wappingers Falls.
