Obituary of Margaret Culhane

Margaret Culhane, who resided at Greystone Programs New Hackensack IRA, Wappingers Falls, together with her extended family of Shawn, JoAnn, Nina, Sherrise, Richard and Eric as well as devoted staff who provided her with exceptional care entered peacefully into rest, in her own bed, on Sunday, March 9, 2014. She was 73. Margaret was predeceased by other New Hackensack family members in the past few years: Karen Koziol, and Joanne Guastella. She also leaves behind her loving friends and staff of Greystone Programs and Abilities First who affectionately referred to her as "Grandma". For fun, Margaret enjoyed going shopping, getting manicures and having her hair styled. She loved dining out and going for walks in the beautiful outdoors. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, West Main Street, Wappingers Falls in the spring.
