I remember Tom during the many golf trips we enjoyed together. Playing in Myrtle Beach, in the Poconos, every Wednesday during the summers in Poughkeepsie playing in the Catskills and playing in the Friday Night Golf League at Casperkill. He was the consummate competitor and a true gentleman of the game. We also shared many memorable times watching Marist Basketball during the golf off-season. He will be sorely missed. I feel very fortunate to have known him. My prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Tommy was a very special cousin and will always be remembered for taking time out of his busy days to write long, long, letters, to my sister, Joan, who was an invalid, talking about everything from his many fishing trips with his buddies to his grandchildren. His letters, along with the flowers he sent, helped to keep Joan's spirits up and keep her going. I will never forget Tommy and will keep him and all his family in my thoughts and prayers.

Our Neighbor & Friend
You with chainsaw in hand, cutting logs from those trees
And with each passing autumn, we blew a few million leaves
You standing in your garden, shovel in hand
Always one with nature enjoying your land
Planting your seedlings row by row
A family of Ground Hogs nearby, watching them grow
Nymphs & tied flies pinned to your hat
Along many streams with your fly rod you sat
Fly fishing for Brookies those little trout
Enjoying each trip without a doubt
Each passing Spring & Summer, the grass forever growing
My neighbor Tom on the Hill always out there mowing
When you were done and the lawn was short
Youd chip golf balls enjoying this sport
A skilled carpenter always providing a helping hand
Realizing his younger neighbor just did not understand
Taking time to teach, installing many a door
Realizing this novice needed a construction mentor
Picking & sharing veggies from your garden all summer long
As you listened to the wild blue birds & finches chirp a sweet song
You relaxing in your chair out in the back
Preparing to make your next ground hog attack
When the Neighborhood Poker Club
Needed a new member you invited me in looking funny
Saying dont worry Dan its not about winning the money
Sharing a cold Samuel Adams on your screened porch during the summer
No more conversations with you, will be the biggest bummer
Will miss the noise of the table saw buzzing from this Woodsmans workshop
For to Jodi and I, you will always be the Cream of the Crop
So rest now our neighbor and friend
It is time for you to now ascend
Tom, you will be greatly missed by the Turner family.

Dear Tom Bartush Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathies for your great loss. I have played many enjoyable rounds of golf with Tom on the local courses with the golf league. I always felt it a priviledge to play with him, both as a partner and as a foe. I also spoke with
him many times at the Man2Man meetings, exchanging information about PCa. He was always helpful, sharing the data he had and his experiences with PCa. I was lucky to be able to share a part of
my life with him. May God comfort you all during this time of sorrow.
Sincerely,
Herb & Roselyn Ilker

Tom and I go back a long way. We played golf together in the IBM Men's Friday night golf league starting back in the late 1960's. We also spent time together, over the years, fly fishing in Montana, Utah, New Mexico, New York and Connecticut. Often his brother Chet would join us for many hours of good fishing and good companionship. I will miss the chance to fish again with Tom. But more importantly, I will miss Tom.
I offer my condolences to his wife, brother and his entire family. May he rest in peace.
