Obituary of Mae Oliver

Mae Oliver Mae Oliver, a local resident for twenty-five years, entered into rest Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Highgate Manor in Dedham, Massachusetts. She was 81. Daughter of the late John and Rose Martinec, she was born May 2, 1928 in New York City. In 1965, she married William H. Oliver, Jr. in New York City; Mr. Oliver preceded her in death, passing on April 12, 1989. Survivors include her son, William H. Oliver, III and his wife, Cheryl of Stoughton, Massachusetts; her sister, Stephanie Kohler of Mineola, New York; and her grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, John. Family will receive family and friends on Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 21 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, West Main Street in Wappingers Falls.
