Obituary of Kevin J. Warren

Kevin J. Warren of Fishkill entered into rest Monday, November 10, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 56. Son of Joan M. Warren and the late Robert E. Warren, he was born on September 12, 1958 in Poughkeepsie. Kevin graduated from John Jay High School in 1976. He went on to work as an IT analyst for many local companies, until his retirement. In his spare time, Kevin was an avid photographer, canoeist and outdoor adventurer. He had a great love for the woods and lakes of the Adirondacks. In addition to his mother, Joan, he is survived by his brother, Bob of Fishkill; his sisters, Kathryn Poitras and her husband, Jeffrey of Southbury, CT, and Laura Weiss and her husband, John of Carmel; aunt and uncle, Sally and David Trabucco of Yorktown Heights; niece, Megan Poitras; nephew, Ryan Poitras; and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Robert E. Warren on May 16, 1995. Family will receive their friends on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, November 14 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Mother of the Church, Jackson Street in Fishkill.
