Richard M. Quicci
Richard M. Quicci, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, went home to be with God and his father on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 20.
Son of Linda Raffi Quicci of Wappingers Falls and the late Vincent N. Quicci, he was born March 18, 1989 in Poughkeepsie.
Rich worked as a contractor with his father in his business, Neighborhood Contracting in Wappingers Falls. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball and soccer. He also spent his spare time working on model cars and his computer. Rich had a love for animals and volunteered at Animal Rescue Foundation in Beacon. He attended St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction. Most importantly, he was a loving son and good brother and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Quicci at home in Wappingers Falls; his brother, Jim Quicci; several aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 18, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 19 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Fishkill Rural Community Mausoleum, Route 9, Fishkill.
