Obituary of Lorraine Walls

Lorraine "Lucky" Walls Lorraine "Lucky" Walls, a resident of Beacon, entered into rest, Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. Daughter of the late George and Frances Kessler Cook, she was born December 7, 1946 in Manhattan. She was married to the late John M. Walls who preceded her in death November 11, 2007. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, doing crafts, knitting and watching her programs. Most importantly she was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. Survivors include her children, George Haddock and his wife, Diana of Beacon, Henry Kiernan of Auburn, New York, Raymond Walls of Beacon, Lorrie Maupin and her husband, Brian of Beacon, Connie Walls of Beacon and Robert Walls and his wife, Tabitha of Hyde Park; her sisters, Frances Cook and Katherine Morrison both of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Henry, Jr., Jenene, Kelly, Christina, Kayleigh, Sharon, Dillon, Austin and Brandon; her five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
