Obituary of Gladys I. Guzman

Gladys I. Guzman Gladys I. Guzman, a resident of Wappingers Falls, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. She was 66. She was born September 9, 1943 in Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Tomas Zayas Ramos and Jacinta Maldonado Velez. Gladys lived most of her life in the Bronx and moved to Wappingers Falls six years ago. She was a Yankee's fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed, but comfort can be found in knowing that she is now with her beloved husband of 45 years, Alcky, who preceded her in death on July 18, 2005. She is survived by her children, Alcky Guzman, Jr. and his wife, Holly and Marilyn Guzman; her grandchildren, Jacqui, Sydney and Alcky, III as well as her extended family. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 24 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
