Obituary of Wade G. Terrelonge

Wade G. Terrelonge Wade G. Terrelonge, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Castle Point VAMC. He was 54. Son of Inez Segree Terrelonge and the late Eugene Terrelonge, he was born June 4, 1956 in the Bronx. Wade proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1975 until he was honorably discharged in 1979. For most of his life, Wade was a salesman. Recently he received his license and was an Insurance Agent. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Fishkill. In his spare time he enjoyed writing, gardening, building computers, and he was an avid lover of golf. A family statement reads, "Wade had a big heart for everyone. He always found time for conversation or a hug, no matter where you were. He was always ready to help, no matter what time of day or night, even if he was not feeling well. Wade was a devoted son, brother and uncle." Survivors include his mother, Inez Terrelonge of Wappingers Falls; his brothers, Bruce Terrelonge of Poughkeepsie and Neil Terrelonge of Wappingers Falls; his beloved sister, Dawn Rivera-Sczesny and her husband, Vincent of Orlando; as well as several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1200 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 7 at the church. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff who helped to care for Wade on H Wing at Castle Point VAMC.
