Obituary of Maria B. Pallo

Maria B. Pallo Maria B. Pallo, a resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie and formerly of Yonkers, entered into rest Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 46. Daughter of the late Carmine C. Molino and Philomena M. Cuccia Molino Bachant, she was born March 17, 1964 in Yonkers. On April 12, 1985 in Yonkers, she married the love of her life, Thomas Pallo. Mr. Pallo survives at home in Poughkeepsie. Maria was the Gourmet Cheese Manager with A & P in Bronxville for over twenty years and later in Yorktown and LaGrange. She also sold Avon. Maria was a parishioner at St. Mary's Church, Wappingers Falls. Most importantly, she dedicated her life to her son, Jeffrey. She treasured her time at home and enjoyed taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Pallo at home in Poughkeepsie; her son, Jeffrey at home in Poughkeepsie; her step-sister, Lisa James and her husband, Phillip of Danbury; her mother-in-law, Evelyn Pallo of Poughkeepsie; her brother-in-law, George Pallo and his wife, Nancy of Yonkers; her sister-in-law, Deborah McDonald and her husband, Kenneth of Ada, Michigan; her aunts, Marie Sakovsky and her husband, Joseph of Hopewell Junction and Maryann Miss and her husband, David of Ridgeway, Colorado; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-brother, Michael Molino. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October, 17, 2010 from 3 to5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Monday, October, 18 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls.
