Obituary of Mary Cannova

Mary Cannova Mary Cannova entered into rest Friday, October 22, 2010 at Wingate at Dutchess, where she had been residing. She was 95. Daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Zachar Diamond, she was born June 6, 1915 in Manhattan. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Cannova worked at May's Department Store in Glen Oaks, New York. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Farrell and her husband, William of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Peter Farrell and his wife, Veronica of Wappingers Falls, William P. Farrell and his wife, Jill of San Diego, California, Paul Frati and his wife, Michelle of Manorville, Long Island and Jill Huffman and her husband Jeff of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Cannova and her daughter, Joan Frati. Interment will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, Long Island.
