Obituary of Thomas P. Taylor

Thomas P. Taylor Thomas P. Taylor, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest Monday January 17, 2011 at his home. He was 61. Son of the late Harry and Helen Clancy Taylor, he was born August 23, 1949 in the Bronx. On November 14, 1970 at Our Lady of Grace Church in the Bronx, he married the former Laura Morly. Mrs. Taylor survives at home. Prior to his retirement Tom worked for NYNEX, now Verizon in Quality Control. He went on to work as a broker for Weichert Realtors in Fishkill. In addition to his wife, Laura, he is survived by his sons, Michael Taylor of Wappingers Falls, Steven Taylor and his wife, Randi of Commack, New York and Eric Armando of Pocono, Pennsylvania; his sisters, Eileen Morales of North Carolina and Kathleen McGonigal of LaGrange; his granddaughter, Alexandra as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Harry Taylor. Family will receive their friends and family on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 21 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Route 9, Fishkill.
