Obituary of Henry Adams

Henry Adams Henry Adams, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 75. Son of the late Charlie and Maude Adams, he was born July 4, 1935 in Union Vale. Henry was a longtime employee at Wappingers Rural Cemetery and went on to work as Sexton at Zion Episcopal Church in Wappingers Falls retiring in 1996. He was a faithful parishioner at the church. In his free time Henry enjoyed puzzles. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Straub, Catalano and Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 23 at Zion Episcopal Church, 12 Satterlee Place, Wappingers Falls with Rev. Wayne R. Schmidt officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Henry's name to Zion Episcopal Church, 12 Satterlee Place, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
