Ludwina Camoin

Daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Vaganek, she was born on September 5, 1915 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She wed her husband Romeo on August 27, 1938. He preceded her in death, passing on May 9, 1997.

Ludwina was one of nine children. In her married life, she enjoyed her time making a lovely home for her husband and two children.

Survivors include her son, Robert J. Camoin and his wife, Grace, of Speculator; her daughter, Edwina Marooney and her husband, Richard, of Melbourne, FL; her brother, Michael Vaganek of New Jersey; grandchildren, Robert and Michael Camoin, Corinne Updegrave and Richard, Michael and Kristen Marooney; great-grandchildren, Cody, James and Joseph Marooney, Emma Updegrave and Taylor, Garrett, Meredith and Isabelle Camoin; and several nieces and nephews.

Ludwina is predeceased by seven brothers and sisters, and her great-grandson, Ryan Marooney.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday, July 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls.
