Obituary of Jason Michael Papesca

Jason Michael Papesca Jason Michael Papesca, a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest Thursday, October 27, 2005 at his residence. He was 30. Son of Michael F. and Josephine J. Sidote Papesca, he was born December 6, 1974 in Beacon. His parents survive at home in Wappingers Falls. Jason was a mechanic with Valvoline in Fishkill and was most recently employed by Tri-County Maintenance Company in Wappingers Falls. Jason enjoyed NASCAR and playing and watching sports, especially Golf, Football, Basketball and Baseball. He took pleasure in bonsai Tree training with his father. Jason was an avid collector of vintage electronic game systems and enjoyed model building. He was also a Star Wars fanatic and took pride in his collection ever since he was young. He cherished his '79 Camaro, which he restored himself. Most importantly, he was a loving father to his daughter, Shaun Marie. In addition to his parents Michael and Josephine Papesca who survive at home, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Shaun Marie Papesca; his two brothers, Dominic Anthony and Michael Vincent Papesca at home in Wappingers Falls; his paternal grandmother Rose M. Papesca; his uncles, Rick Papesca and his wife, Joanne, Louis Papesca and his wife, Mal Suk and Joseph Sidote; his aunts, Rose LaPierre and her husband, Tom, Donna Marsh and her husband, Ed, and Carolann Pellerin and her husband, Aaron; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Josephine Sidote and paternal grandfather Richard W. Papesca Family will receive their friends on Saturday, October 29, 2005 from 7-9 pm and Sunday, October 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, October, 31 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. Memorial donations on Jason's behalf may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
