Thoughts and memories of Chris have reminded me of Chris's love for life and living.
It is my hope that all of Chris's friends and family will make it through this tragedy and take some time not only to grieve but to remember how Chris effected your lives and let those memories put a smile on your face again, and remember how lucky we all have been to have known him. I was fortunate enough to meet Chris in 1973 and immediately became best of friends! We had a whole lot of first times together. He was a member of my family. My mom treated him like her blonde haired son! He treated Howard (my brother) just like his baby brother! Chris was always a stand out in the crowd. I was the beneficiary of his humor, generosity and his love. Chris had a strong love for his family and friends. By the way, those are things he also taught me through his friendship.
Chris had a great ear for music. He turned me on to many of my favorite artists! Rare for someone who never played an instrument. I thank him!
Although, I moved thousands of miles away we were in constant contact. He always reminded me that we were still very close in all ways!
Although, I cannot be there I will celebrate the beautiful life and man I have known for thirty- four years!
