Dear Janet,
I am thinking of you and your family during this time of loss. Your mom will always have a special place in my heart. Her presence in the church though out my youth and her ongoing love and support and friendship as I have lived in different places always helped me feel welcome when I came home. I know it has been tough since your dad passed for her, but I also know she found joy and comfort in the time you gave to her. I had a wonderful visit with her this past summer when I was in the States. She seemed happy and well. I will miss her dearly but know that there is a celebration in heaven for a job well done. My prayers and sympathy to you. And thanks for the gift of your mom's touch in my life.

Dear Janet and members of Marjorie's family,
I remember Margie, as we called her, very well since she was our volunteer librarian at Literacy Volunteers with Marion Sullivan for about 13 years. Margie was warm, kind and a hard-working volunteer. She was also quietly strong and a guiding force. Margie and Marion kept all of our records for the library, catalogued, shelved and ordered new books for many years. Margie was also a tutor for some years. Bill Shimmin used to video tape our Annual Meeting every year. I have been with with Literacy Connections, (our new name) for 20 years, and with fondness offer sincere condolences for your loss of Marjorie, a lady with a heart of gold and a spine of steel. May God bless your whole family. Marian G Thompson
