Nancy L. Maslosky
Nancy L. Maslosky of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 60.
Daughter of the late Dudley F. and Lena Haass Geroe, she was born on October 28, 1946 in Peekskill. She married Robert L. Maslosky in June of 1988 in Peekskill; they remained happily married for almost 20 years.
Nancy worked as a baker for Hannaford Supermarkets in Wappingers Falls. She loved to cook, especially for her family during the holidays. She also loved animals; she held her dog, Misty and her cat, Baby Girl, close to her heart. Most of all, she loved her grandkids and the time she spent with them.
In addition to her husband, Robert at home in Wappingers Falls, Mrs. Maslosky is survived by her daughter, Susan Roberts-Donofrio and her husband, Anthony of Wappingers Falls; step-son, Robert Maslosky, Jr. of Wappingers Falls; step-daughter, Dawn Delaney and her husband, Mike of Charlotte, NC; brother, Dudley Geroe, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of KS; sister, Susan Richards and her husband, John of OH; grandchildren, Courtney, Devin, Jordan, Kaitlyn, Andrew and Kaitlyn; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive their friends on Monday, October 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 16 at 11 a.m. at Fishkill Rural Cemetery; interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy's name to Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538.
