Obituary of Lauren M. Coxen

Lauren M. Coxen Lauren M. Coxen, a resident of Malden and formerly of Kingston and Poughkeepsie, entered into rest suddenly on April 3, 2008 at her home. She was 29. Daughter of David M. and Lucille M. Lucarelli Coxen, she was born December 23, 1978 in New Rochelle. Her parents survive in Poughkeepsie. Lauren was a job coach for ARC in Ulster County. She had a special place in her heart for the disabled adults she worked with. She was also a pet lover and enjoyed photography. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandmother, Irene Coxen of Croton-on-Hudson; her brother, David A. Coxen and his girlfriend, Vanessa Furey of Poughkeepsie and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family will receive their friends on Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Monday, April 7 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls. Cremation will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, South Avenue, Poughkeepsie.
