Dear Aunt Ida,Johnny Boy,Robbie,Jimmy and Ronnie,We are so sad to hear that Uncle John passed away but glad that he will be in good company. He was always my favorite uncle and will always have a special place in my heart. Although my mother is probably turning in her grave, I have never been a reader of the paper--even the S.I.Advance and when Ed told me I couldn't believe it.Please accept our deepest condolences.I am going to try to get up to the services on Sat.All my love.Kim Leone DiPaolo

Dear Aunt Ida, I was sad when my Dad told me Uncle John had passed away. I remember how he made me laugh when I saw him at Mickey's wake. He made me feel so much better. I reminded that he owed me 50 birthday and Christmas gifts since he was my Godfather and I had not seen him in 50 years. Please accept our sincere condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you since we cannot be there with you and the family.

Dear Ida, John, Robby, Jimmy and Ronnie; I am so sorry for your loss. I remember the first time I met him, he scared me. Then he sat me down at your kitchen table. He said I needed meat on my bones. I spent the next four years learning to garden, crochet, cook, sew, fish and eat. It was a part of my life I will always remember so fondly. He always made me feel so at home. My Beach Lake memories will always bring a warm feeling to my heart. He was a wonderful man and I know he will be missed sorely. He leaves behind a beautiful family, and being part of that family at one time, I know you will all hold each other close through this time.
John, I am so sorry I can't be there to show my respect to your Dad. He raised a beautiful person who I cared for very much. Take care of your Mom. All My Deepest Simpathy and Prayers, Donna Decker
