To the Schwerman family and all those who loved Paul: I worked with Paul in 1988 during a County Players production and had not seen him since then, but I do remember what a kind, funny man he was. May he rest in peace with our heavenly Father and with all those whom he loved and have gone before him. I also pray for healing for all those who mourn his loss.

To All of Paul's family and friends, my deepest condolances in Paul's tragic loss. I spent much time with Paul at County Players. His heart was big and his smile infinite. He will be remembered with fondness by all who know him. I regret that I did not find out about his death until last night, or I would have been there for the wake and/or the funeral. Rest in Peace, Paul, in God's loving arms.

I am so sad to learn of Paul's untimely passing. Paul was a delightful colleague when I was the Poughkeepsie City Chamberlain from 1996 to 2000. His funny sense of humor was a real joy. One day, the fire alarm went off, and everyone had to evaculate the building. Later, we learned Paul had burned a bagel in the Law Dept. toaster because he was in a meeting and forgot the bagel.... a meeting with the Fire Department Chief, of all people! We kidded him about that for a long time. He will truly be missed. My sympathies are with you at this time.

This saying expresses far more than I can say:
"The beauty of a life well lived becomes a legacy that stays behind and warms the heart with every memory." May God grant Paul's loved ones and friends peace of mind and memories of Paul forever.

God Bless you Paul. And I hope your family can somehow survive this tragedy.
(It was a pleasure serving you over the years that I was your dry cleaner.)
Your help at city hall on several occasions helped me through a few difficult times too. You were the consummate "public servant". rest in peace, and GO METS.

Dear Lisa and family of Paul,
Why this has happened I don't know, God has a plan for all of us.
Paul was such a great person, kind, loving to his family and Lisa and her girls, or I should say his girls, very gentle but very strong, and just a nice person all around.
We will all miss him very much.
Our thoughts and prayers and with all of you at this very sad time.
Love,
Auntie Carol and Uncle Ernie
