There are absolutely no words that I can say to express what I am feeling right now. You were always the Wind Beneath My Wings. You gave me love, strength, encouragement, hope, and guidance throughout my entire life. I do not know what I am going to do without you. You were, are, and will forever be my Patti. There is such a whole in my heart right now that I do not think will ever heal. My only hope is that you knew just how much I love you. I miss you terribly and so wish I could turn back the hands of time. I want to go back to our long all night talks, our laughing fits, our days of spending time together. I do not know what I am going to do without you.

I have always felt comfort in the idea that with every story you tell and every memory you share your parents live on through you. Don't be afraid to retell, recount and reminisce. It can be therapeutic.
James, your marriage and wedding to Kristen has always been a happy memory for me on the day of the loss of my father. I hope you will find strength in the coming days, and find peace through the years.
I send my love to you all.

Oh how our hearts ache. You, my forever friend, will be missed so much. I am so glad we reconnected one more time for you were always in my heart and in my thoughts. The last letter I sent could not cover the years past but I always knew you were there. Until our next connection, know you are loved.

loss so profound
you filled me, held me and comforted me
you offered unconditional love and friendship
no greater sorrow have i ever experienced
no deeper pain has ever rendered me so empty
your loss so profound I may never be whole again
