I remember meeting Mrs. Syngjellari the very first time when I came over after school in the 7th grade to play some street fighter with Joe, she was so nice and loving. After that it was history, We spent almost every weekend together until they moved back to New York. Even though it has been many years I still carry the "Awesome" memories of Mrs. Syngjellari since she basically was my mother when I was staying over the weekends for years. I truly can say that I still remember Joe pinching his mothers arm and biting it as a form of Love. I pray for peace for the Syngjellari's heart and know that there Mother is Watching Over All of Them! She will be missed but the memories she has left will never be forgotten. I love you all!

I just heard about Joann's passing, I am so deeply upset to hear this. She was always so kind to me and made me smile. She always asked how I was doing and my family and put everyone else first. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Syngjellari family during this difficult time.

It is so sad that Joann has passed away.
My deepest sympathy to the family. I never
met Joann's sons,and the last time I seen Natasha she was probably around 6 or 7 years old. So I'm not sure if she would remember me
but that's how long I have known Joann. She
