Ray,
I didn't know your Dad, but I remember seeing him walking real fast around the site in Beacon. He must have been a good Dad to raise a wild and crazy guy like you and have him turn out well. Blessings to you and your family,

Ray,
It has been a long while but I couldn't help but to think of you and your dad and to remember our great old Texaco days. I was so impressed with all that he has done as I read his obituary yesterday but was not suprised as I always remember him as being such a nice, friendly and straight up guy. He was a true gentleman so worthy of the "Greatest Generation" title that was bestowed on our parents generation. My thoughts, sympathy and prayers are with you at this very sad time Ray and with your whole family. In closing I will give you the highest compliment and tell you that you always reminded me of your father and it was always a true pleasure for me whenever I bumped into you at our old Texaco. I know it's a very sad time for you Ray but it has been so many years and I just wanted to say that I hope all is going very well for you and your family. I know it's been such a long time but I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten your Dad or you or our wonderful Texaco days where we were all like family. Take care my old friend. Again, my sincerest condolences are with you and your whole family as you grieve the loss of your father...Mike Losee...4 Fishkill Glen Drive, Unit E...Fishkill...New York...12524.

Young Ray,
My condolences to you and all your family. I already wrote a note on the Po'kip Journal's site but here's another. What a great guy. I was just a young chemist, new to motor oil development, when I met Ray. I could tell right away he was a no B.S., straight from the shoulder guy. He was extremely knowledgeable and always happy to share that knowledge. A great mentor. One of my best friends and colleague through my 34 years at Texaco.

We extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of your father. Paul and I worked with Ray in Bldg. 28 at Texaco 35 years ago. He was a very special man in our lives. He was a wonderful boss, so kind, comical, well-respected by all. We were so fortunate to have known him. Even though we haven't seen him in many years, he has and always will remain in our hearts. We, hopefully, can re-arrange of schedule to attend one of the services, but please know that your dad and your entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely, Roxanne (Fezza) and Paul Meyer

i grew up watching Ray officiate amny CYO basketball games at St. Mary's in Wappingers. Years later when i coached, i always asked Ray to officiate my games. He was quiet and a very smart man. I would see Ray and his wife at Mt. Alvernia many Saturdays attending mass. I remember him mowing Vet's field in the village when it was a little league field. Ray was very community minded. His children followed him in that respect.
