My heart breaks at hearing the news of your mother. Mom just found out about the services, and was very upset that she missed them. You and your family have always had a special place in our hearts. Dear Rich, Sara, Jill, Buddy and families, I was shocked and saddened to read of Sue's passing tonight. I met Sue at IBM in the 80's and really liked her! She was very friendly and fun to know! It was when I worked with Jill, too. Later in life, I ran into Sue (probably at Hannafords), and we caught up again! I know for a fact she loved her family immensely because she always talked about you! I met Sara when she came with Sue to my aerobics class in Milton Elementary. Every so often I would see Sue, whether at the store, or watching her grandson's games on the field. She was a lovely person, and I'm so sorry to hear of her passing! I will always remember her beautiful smile and spirit. I am so very sorry for your loss, and I will keep you all in my prayers.

To Sara, Rich and Suzi's entire family, I send my deepest sympathies. Suzi has always been a bright light, as those of us who were fortunate enough to call her a friend can surely agree. My memories of her go back to our teens and the fun that we had, the fun that was Suzi. Rich and Sarah, Sandy, Dave and Buddy- Just wanted to express my profound sadness over the passing of a wonderful friend, wife, mother, sister, person. I was lucky enough to visit with her on Monday and even then, despite her physical and emotional trauma, her grace and beauty and love for life and for you guys (and her grandbabies) eclipsed everything else. As Adlai Stevenson said about Eleanor Roosevelt on her passing, "She would rather light a million candles than curse the darkness, and her light has warmed the world." Suzi's light has certainly warmed all of our worlds and will live on as long as we honor her with our love and memories. I hope that she is peaceful now and that you can all find some solace in the thought that her journey brought her to a place where there is no more suffering. We were lucky to have her in our world.
