Dear Mike,
I just read about Alice. So sorry for your lost. I remember how much you loved her. I just moved to NC the first of December. Other wise I would have come to the services. You and your family welcomed me into your hearts and church when I came to Van Wyck. I have never forgotten that. You will continue to be in my prayers and thoughts.

I'm sorry to hear about Alice. She was a wonderful person and my prayers go out to you and your family. At my aunt's memorial in New Bern, we were talking about recipes and I heard about her wonderful banana bread and asked if she could send me her recipe when she got back to New York. She did and I think of her every time I make it. My kids love it too and I have passed it on to them as well.

Alice was my Mom's best friend and I grew to love Alice through that friendship.
Alice always put others ahead of herself, a giving woman with an infectious smile. She brought love and comfort to so many...a true angel on earth.
We will cry for her today in our mortal world but I know she is at peace with God and shopping up in Heaven with my Mom, Joanie.
