Julie and I wish you all best wishes and the strength and courage to find peace in the days ahead. I am sure you have many, many memories, and that they will bring you peace and satisfaction as you recall them.
I met Fred back in the 60's at IBM. He was a cost estimator in the Development Lab and I was also one in Industrial Engineering. We occasionally shared our data as we may have worked on the same product. It has been a joy all these years to see fred in Church and chat with him about old times.
Our thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with you all.

I pray you are all able to find joy in the celebration of a wonderful man and a life well lived. What a gift Mr. Long was to all who knew him. He left a legacy of a beautiful family. Surely there is a celebration and reunion in heaven right now. Love, hugs and healing.

I cherish the memory of Fred's sense of humor (very, very punny) and his devotion to his family.

Our Uncle Fred was a special person. As I think of him I remember countless good times from the early days of my childhood through present day. It's his laugh that stays with me. Fred always found humor in any situation. Hot summer days on Lake Champlain playing cards ("I'm not playing solitaire on a computer!" and reminiscing. I'll always remember these times and I hope he finds his way back to his beloved Aunt Jo. We all loved you very much.
