Our thoughts are with you all during this time. Mary was my mother (Winkie O'Keeffe's) best friend. Mary called my mom " Wimpy"... They had such fun together. I remember Mary's laugh and voice like it was yesterday. They sent each other funny cards for their birthdays every year. I believe they lived together at some point because Mary always said my mother had to leave her shoes outside because they smelled!! Funny the little things you remember hearing as a child.
So sad to loose the wonderful people in our lives. We will cherish her memory.

We at the Pleasant Valley Department Store are so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was truly one of our very favorite customers, and we always looked forward to her visits. She was always cheerful, kind, and, course, light-hearted and fun. There was never a time that she did not ask about us and our families, and always expressed interest with what was happening with us. She was so thoughtful, and we loved her. We will miss her very much,

Mary was my friend for over 50 years. The most giving person I have ever known, She was so much fun and we shared so many stories of our riding and Rombout days. She loved a hug.
