To the Pennacchias and the Morante family, I am so very sorry for your loss. When I think back on my college days in the years to come, dinners at Nonna’s house will always be my top and most cherished memory. She was a force of a character. To hear her described, you would think she was fictional, to share her company, extraordinary. I will always remember her wry smile, her quiet but teasing laugh, and of course, foremost, her amazing food. But perhaps my favorite memory is the first thing she ever said to me, puzzled at my pale Irish skin in summer: “you no like the beach?”
Thank you, Stephanie, for sharing Nonna with us. She made all our lives richer and all our meals more delicious. Her love for her grandchildren was so immense, it spilled over to all their friends too. May she Rest In Peace and continue to share beautiful food at God’s table.
With love,
Colleen, and the Taylors

To Gina, Josephine and Rita...
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your mom....she was a wonderful lady.
I have so many memories of the great times we all used to have. Your mom was the best cook and baker, I still have one of her cookie recipes...
I wish I was in New York so that I could pay my respects. May Our Lord give you all the strenght at this difficult time, and may the Lord always keep your mom close to His side.
Love Antoinette Tudda
