I was so saddened to hear of Elsie's passing. She was a dedicated parishioner at Zion who touched so many lives. Her energy was a source of inspiration. She was always able to get things done with a spirit of "we can do this" attitude. Her humor was a delightful bonus to any project. I remember many interesting conversations during coffee hours with Elsie. She was generous with her time and concern for others. During difficult times she would always find time to ask how are you doing and listen and offer support. I pray that her family and friends will find comfort during this difficult time.

I cannot remember a time in my life when I didn't know Elsie Ruppert. I grew up attending Zion Episcopal Church and she was an integral part of it in so many respects. My deepest sympathy to her entire family for the loss of such a kind woman. Wishing her and all of you God's peace.

We met Elsie when we moved next door to her almost 5 years ago. She was always so warm and kind to us. Unfortunately, we never got the chance to learn any gardening tips from her. I know I could have learned a lot from her. She will be missed. May her memory be eternal. Chris, Christina, and Amelia Brill
