Dear Herb - I hope you remember me. I worked in Macy's on the Fine Jewelry counter for many years, and we became friends when you worked there as well. I remember when you retired and would then come in the store shopping with Janice and look at all the beautiful Levian jewelry. Janice was such a lovely lady, and I always enjoyed chatting with her and looked forward when you would come in to see me again. You have such a lovely family.....so pleasant, friendly, gracious, generous, and happy! I am delinquent in reading the local newspapers, and when I came across Janice's obituary, I was shocked. I am so so sorry to hear of her passing! My heartfelt sympathy and love go out to you and your daughters and the rest of your family on this very sad occasion.
I retired from Macy's in October 2020 and are enjoying the good life! I hope someday that our paths will cross again. But meanwhile, I wish you good health, happiness in the memories that you and Janice shared, and a peacefulness knowing that she is no longer in discomfort. Take good care, Herb. I am so grateful that I got to know you!
