Geri was the first to greet us when moved upstate a few years ago. I remember seeing her walk up to us with her shorts, low cut blouse and thinking "hot damn" that is an awesome lady. She was the perfect balance of assertiveness and kindness. My family, especially my children loved going over to visit her had it be playing in the pool or getting free rides in her stair lift. We will miss Geri tremendously, her warmth, her hugs and overall confidence. A woman I truly admired, one who served as an inspiration and guide on how to carry on in your later years. Thank you for all the memories we shared.

We so enjoyed being with Aunt Geri & Uncle Stephen for many years, visiting them for long weekends to get a thorough "soaking". They always treated us and our children like we were their own and didn't live far away. Our favorite part of our visits was arriving really late Friday night and having Aunt Geri's triple C's (chocolate Chip cookies), talking into the wee hours of the morning so we could squeeze every ounce of contact from our visits. She always cooked up a feast for the whole family and encouraged the cousins to sleepover altogether. When the family trips became fewer, she was still very gracious to let me drop by whenever I was on a motorcycle trip or just passing through the area. It was a sincere treat to host Aunt Geri at our home last December for several days, as we drove around NH looking for covered bridges that she loved so much. We will always remember her smiling and loving us!
