knew him for last 50 years. We met two weeks back at lunch after Jain Puja at Hindu Samaj. He looked very healthy. He used to sincerely lead in whatever he did and inspired others. He was an exemplary person. We all will miss him. He had a successful life. May his soul RIP.

My heartfelt condolences to the family on this tragic loss.
Thinking of uncle I am reminded of his cheerful and larger than life personality. So much to learn from him! He was a very special person indeed. The proof is in the wonderful family he raised and the inspiring life that he led. I always learnt something new every time I had a conversation with him. I have much respect and admiration for him and a life led superbly well. A life worth celebrating! I shall always remember him very fondly!

Very sad to hear news that Vikram bhai has left us. His larger then life persona and outgoing spirit will be missed. Most recently , he was taking an advanced level Indian classical music exam . That shows his young spirit. For me , Shreelekha bhabhi and him were one unit and an example of what soul mate can be . I met them in 1977 and since then , they both were very affectionate towards me and my family.
We will miss you , Vikram bhai . May Lord Almighty guide your soul and give lots of strength to Bhabhi and children. Ruta and Vinod Chauhan

We are shocked to hear the news. Vikram was a good friend of mine. We just had a talk with him and his wife on the last Puja ceremony in the Temple. He told us that he was very content with his life. He pulled the pictures of his two children and threir spouses. He also shared the pictures of his grandchildren. He felt very much loved and respected by all. He also told us of his children involved in their community works. He was very proud of them. He was very smart, humble and a good friend. He made some connections for me for which I am grateful to him. He also made connection for my friend whom he hardly knew. He was a great singer. He came to our karaoke and sang the most difficult songs which nobody would dare. We will always remember his smiling and welcoming face.
He deeply believed in God. May God bless his soul. May his family find strength in dealing with his loss.

My dad reminded me that they were friends at 10 yrs old in India and your dad convinced him to move down to Poughkeepsie from Albany - one of the best decisions my dad made. Our deepest condolences to the Tolat family. Over the years, we have known Vikram uncle as one of the most kind hearted and inspiring father figure . He always greeted us with warmth and love and blessed all of us with his wisdom. Our family always left inspired and learnt something new from each of our interactions. He taught us how to love our kids and we saw immense pride in his eyes for Aneesh, Amee, Nischala, James and all his grand kids He was a guiding soul full of life experiences and compassion. Words will not be enough to summarize Vikram uncle's tall personality, humble demeanor and inspiring life.
