Isabel was a light that shone in every room she went into. Her beautiful smile and infectious laughter brought happiness to everyone who knew her. I loved going to Ashleys house and making her mom laugh. She was a joy to be around. She was a great mama and an incredible grammy and to me, she was a lovely friend. I am happy to have known her in this life. Every year we did a couples gingerbread competition and Isabel was the judge. She got so into it. Putting on her little glasses and really taking the time to crown a winner. This Christmas tradition will be something I continue every december and will be passed down to my children, in her honor. I will call it Isabels gingerbread house.
