Although I did not know David well, I will always remember bonding with him at the gym while on the rowing machine. He was such a wonderful friend. My sincere condolences to his family. I wrote a poem in his memory.
The Story of David
David slew the Giant with his faith.
His deep faithfulness to the Lord's bidding emanated throughout all who knew him.
David passed his love for the Lord to his sons and instilled in them by example, how to spread His love and kindness to all who knew them.
David was so good and his intentions were so pure. He had a heart of gold and wisdom for the good in humanity.
David will live on in the heavens with his Lord as his sheperd.
Rest in Peace to all who knew and loved David
With all my love, Jun Fujimori

Dear Mary, I am so, so sorry to hear of David's death. I have such fond memories of both of you, from many years of singing together with David in Cappella Festiva, harvesting vegetables together at the farm, and more. My heart aches for you and I am holding you, and David, in the light.

I had the privilege of knowing David through the years at the gym. Our conversations reflected who he was as a man. I will miss him dearly for his smile, his encouraging words and His Strength of character. He will be missed.
I offer my prayers to you Mary and Family, as the loss will be great but I know the memories and his presence will be Forever in your hearts. Lauriew5jQ

No matter what the age, it seems as if the people we love are stolen from us. I found that the way to have them live on is to never stop loving them. Cherish the memories and think happy memories. It will put a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dave was one of the nicest people I have ever met and, oh, what a classy, gallant gentleman. He was part of the early morning "crew" at Gold's Gym where he would tell me I couldn't retire (IBM), because I needed to keep the stock prices high. Not that I had anything to do with it. It was a long standing joke between us. I will miss him, his wonderful smile and sense of humor.

RIP Dave. "A Life Well Lived". I'll miss hearing about how the Family is doing (and his Son who came to Gold's with him when he was in from NH), I'll miss his reports on how his Garden was doing at PFP, most men who sing in the shower are "torture", Dave was actually very good! I'll miss his colossal "Sense of Humor", his mischievous grin, his command of what's "right". BUT one thing I won't miss is my Memory of him!
Condolences to Mary and Family on your loss, Rejoice as we all celebrate his Life with our everlasting Memories!!

I met Dave and Mary about 20 years ago at Gold's Gym when it was located where Planet Fitness is today. Dave was always encouraging. Once he gave me small kale plants then told me how to cook the mature leaves. Occasionally our paths would cross. Not long ago we saw each other at Hannaford's as we were selecting sweet potatoes.
