Dear Logan family,
My condolences over the death of Tom. I met him and saw him several times over the years in my work as an appraiser. Tom was a wonderful person, a pleasure to talk to, and very helpful to a beginning appraiser and over the years as I developed from a novice to someone with a little bit more experience.
He was a very decent man and I'm sorry for your loss.
Yours truly, Gregory Faughnan, Rye, New York.

To The Logan Family: Today I am very sad to learn of the passing of your husband and father, one of my appraiser and assessor colleagues. Tom was such a pleasure to be around, especially on the golf course!
I will always remember him as a gentleman and a kind person, who always had a smile on his face. Tom's absence amongst us will be noticed for a long time to come.
With sincerest sympathy,
Nanette J. Albanese, SRA

Mary and Family, We were saddened to read over the internet of Tom's passing. We are living in Florida for the winter and therefore will not be able to attend the services for Tom. We knew you both well from Mariage Encounter and Cursillo, having enjoyed many of Tom's Friday morning pancake breakfasts.
Our condolences and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Mary Lou, Loving wishes from all of us. We have been greatly moved by Tom's courage -- and yours, and by your generosity, identifying Hudson River Housing, Inc. as a recepient of memorial donations. This community is much richer for the contributions of the Logan's! Please take care of yourself -- and maybe, when the time is right, you and Martha and I could meet for lunch (or soemthing). We are all thinking of you and your family, May -- and family and colleagues

No one ever dies as long as they are remembered.
We remember the chicken coop picnics. The wonderful barbecue with Tom and Mary Lou hosting lots and lots of friends. One of those days you cram into daylight.
We remember when our Travellall lost wheel bearings in New Paltz. We are sitting there. Marcia and me and four restless kids on a Sunday afternoon. A call to Tom and he was there and willing to help us in a heartbeat.
We remember difficult times when Tom needed support and he allowed us the privilege of entering a deeper part of his life.
We remember a friend who always looked us in the eye and listened with an open heart to the one speaking.
And Marcia cherished his deep resonant voice on the telephone with a "high five" welcome.
We are allowed too briefly the company each of the other, but it is reassuring to know that his presence will always be with us. Although we grieve for Tom, we will remember as well to celebrate his full and good life and enthusiasm for living.
We remember Tom. We know we always will.
Would you be good enough to let me know when you receive this?
Many thanks, Marcia & Herb Harkins

Dear Marylou and family, My first meeting with both you and Tom was during one of the Share and Enjoy Herb Club meeting at your home, the sharing of Herbs and Hearts. Then, on occasion I would see Tom either in Beacon and later in Wappingers Assessors Offices and upon inquiry he would respond telling me of his family, always with a smile. I send you a sprig of Rosemary For Remembrance... I know all of you will carry thoughts of him in your hearts forever.
