I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Viglotti's passing. Mr. Viglotti was my 6th grade teacher at Brinckerhoff Elementary...the year he retired. We were all disappointed when we found out he wasn't going to be able to finish out the year. He played a game with us...he had tape on the floor at different distances from the trash can. We had to stand on the tape and throw the chalkboard eraser into the can. He was really good at this game! He was such a fun teacher and I've never forgotten about him over the years. I can't believe he was my teacher 21 years ago! A few years ago I ran into Mr. and Mrs. Viglotti in Shoprite (Fishkill). Mrs. Viglotti was just as sweet as her husband. I'm so glad I had that last chance to see Mr. Viglotti. He was always an angel...some day I hope I'll get to play that game with him again.

Lou,
I was sorry to hear of the passing of your father. While I did not know him, I was impressed by the life of service reflected in his obituary. Serving in the armed forces, and returning home to a life of teaching shows a dedication to family and home that few other characteristics can.
May you find consolation in your friends and family in these next days as you all learn to move forward in your lives without Patrick.

To the Vigliotti Family-I am so sorry to hear about this loss. Pat was a meaningful figure in the shaping of my mother's (Patricia Hendrix (Vigliotti)) life. She referred to Pat as her "partner in crime." He will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences are expressed to all of you.

Dear Mrs. Viglotti,
Sorry to hear of Mr. Viglotti's passing. I was a 6th grade student of his in 1971-72. As a new & shy student I wouldn't join the girls' cheerleading squad. He made me join the squad, and changed my year into one of friendship and fun. When some boys picked on me, he assigned a fellow student to watch out for me. That student became a long time friend.
Mr. V made me feel secure and safe, and was a lot like my own father (who passed away in 1998). God bless you and comfort you. Toni Dworkin Taylor

To The Vigliotti Family,
Although I have only seen many of you on special occasions such as christmas,thanksgiving etc over the years, that was enough to know what a special family the vigliotti family and Great Uncle Patrick was and you all will live in my memories forever. Dear Aunt Rose and Family,
I am so saddened by Uncle Pat's passsing. He was very special to me and made me feel special. I am also sorry that he was robbed of his last years with Alzheimer's. I last saw him at Aunt Madelyn's with you. Thank you so much, Aunt Rose, for bringing him for the visit. My own health prevents me from coming to Uncle Pat's funeral, however all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
