No I would not give you false hope
On this strange and mournful day
But the mother and child reu-nion
Is only a motion away, oh, little darling of mine.
I can't for the life of me
Remember a sadder day
I know they say let it be
But it just don't work out that way
And the course of a lifetime runs
Over and over again
No I would not give you false hope
On this strange and mournful day
But the mother and child reu-nion
Is only a motion away, oh, little darling of mine.
I just can't believe it's so,
and though it seems strange to say
I never been laid so low
In such a mysterious way
And the course of a lifetime runs
Over and over again
But I would not give you false hope
On this strange and mournful day
When the mother and child reu-nion
Is only a motion away,
Oh, oh the mother and child reunion
Is only a motion away
Oh the mother and child reu-nion
Is only a moment away

I was a student of Mr. Kalaka's (Arthur-son) at St. Joachim's in Beacon quite a while ago (1975). You may or may not remember me, but I read of your mom's passing and wanted to send my condolences to you.

Dear Art,
It was once said that, children are the best reflection of how parents teach lifelong values. While I never met your lovely wife, I have worked with Art and Jo-Ann and come to see the values your wife instilled within them. They are kind and caring people with a deep devotion to family. I can only conclude that your wife must have been an awesome person.
In this profound time of loss, I wish you warm and fond memories of her to comfort you.
Respectfully,
Michael OLaughlin

You and Sophie set so many wonderful practices for all of us to follow. She has always been a very dear person to so many of her family and friends. We are at our home in Jensen Beach, Fl. and just read about her passing. Our thoughts and prayers will certainly be with you and the family this Easter Season and thereafter. Please pass along some sympathy to the entire family, and we will get in touch with you when we return from Florida.
