He had been a Fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers since 1996, and a member since 1962. Our father served on the boards of Dutchess Community College Foundation and New Day Repertory Theatre Company. He was a passionate golfer and enjoyed traveling the world to learn more about other cultures. In 2000 he became a member of Rotary. Our father worked diligently through the next few years as a member of the Poughkeepsie-Arlington Rotary and later District Governor to spread the word. "Service above self." His ultimate passion was clean water for all! Pursue truth with Love! He was a true Humanitarian. He is survived by his wife Savitri Dorawala; son Amal T.
